Senior Director, Customer Initiatives, Detroit Regional Chamber
Jonathan So is the Senior Director of Customer Initiatives at the Detroit Regional Chamber. In this capacity, he oversees multiple programs that provide consultative services to small and medium-sized businesses on issues ranging from business growth, health care, and innovation. Additionally, he manages a program that provides advisory services to large and medium-sized businesses regarding employee engagement, wellness, and driving health value in organizations.
He is 2015 Health Policy Fellow the Center of Healthcare Research and Transformation. In this capacity, he advises health service researchers and state policy makers on the effects of health care legislation to the business community. He has been a featured healthcare speaker on behalf of Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Michigan and appeared on Detroit Public Radio. He currently serves on the Automotive Industry Action Group’s Health Value Task Force, the Michigan Health and Hospital Association’s Business Advisory Council, and the Medical Main Street Advisory Council. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time running, playing the ukulele and riding bikes with his wife, Celeste.
