    • Implementing Health Care Law: The Year in Review and What’s on the Horizon for CDHC

      Undoubtedly, 2010 was a rough year for health plan administrators and sponsors as they struggled to implement the new requirements imposed by federal health care reform under PPACA. Now that many plans have that first year under way, this session will review what lessons have been learned, and what important plan design changes should be made (or avoided). Join John Hickman, head of Alston & Bird’s Health Benefits Practice as he walks you through the new rules and requirements (including final PPACA regulations) and what to expect in the future. Topics addressed include:

      • What changes have been made in final regulations
      • Plan design changes to avoid
      • How does health care reform impact CDHC (HRAs and HSAs)
      • Grandfather plans one year later (is the exemption still worthwhile)
      • What new requirements lie on the horizon.

    • Population Health & Wellness Panel

      In the first of two round-table discussions at this year’s Forum, FieldMedia presents its inaugural Population Health & Wellness panel discussion, featuring some of the top executives from the premiere companies in the nation specializing in the field.

      From 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the main ballroom, attendees will get first-hand knowledge from RedBrick Health’s Co-Founder and CEO Kyle Rolfing, Beth Keyser, Director of Account Management for the employer market of Healthways, and Kathleen Bibbins, Vice President, Business Development and Maritz Partnerships at InteliSpend Prepaid Solutions.

      Each panelist with have a 15-minute presentation discussion on the implementation of a health and wellness program, expounding on what challenges their clients faced, as well as the best practices of developing a successful program, benefiting both the employer and the employee population. There also will be a 15-minute question-and-answer session to conclude the panel.

      In the final event of Forum and arguably the most popular session during our inaugural event, FieldMedia presents an Employer Panel discussion featuring some of the top human resources directors discussing how their organization is moving toward health care consumerism and staying compliant with the ever-changing health care laws.

      From 4:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. in the main ballroom, attendees with get first-hand, working knowledge from individuals, who are actually in the trenches. There also will be a 15-minute question-and-answer session to conclude the panel.
